HB 2432 HD1      RELATING TO LOW INCOME TAX CREDIT   GOH,WAM
        Allows a partnership, limited liability company, and S
        corporation investors to claim the state low-income
        housing tax credit whether or not they claim the
        federal low income housing tax credit.

HB 2104 HD1      RELATING TO HOUSING                GOH,WAM
        Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds
        and makes an appropriation to the rental housing trust
        fund to encourage the development and availability of
        low-income rental housing throughout the State.

HB 2368 HD1      RELATING TO HOUSING                GOH,WAM
        Authorizes the housing and Community Development
        Corporation of Hawaii to address the housing needs of
        public housing residents when their units are
        demolished, disposed of, or renovated.

HB 2429 HD2      RELATING TO THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY GOH,WAM
        DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF HAWAII
        Allows persons who earn 50% or less of the median
        family income to participate in the Rent Supplement
        Program.  Increases the rent contribution of each
        tenant from 20% to 30% of the tenant's annual income.

HB 2846 HD1      RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMESGOH,C

        Requires the association of apartment owners to
        represent all lessees in lease rent negotiations, that
        lessees are to bear the cost of renegotiations, and
        that costs may be collected in the same manner as
        common expenses.



HB 2425 HD1      RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIMESGOH,C

        Property regimes under chapter 514A are subject to
        county zoning and other county building and
        development ordinances and rules.

HB 2310 HD1      RELATING TO THE SALE OF RESIDENTIAL GOH,WAM
        CONDOMINIUM APARTMENTS TO OWNER-OCCUPANTS
        Streamlines owner-occupancy sales requirements for
        condominiums.

HB 2878 HD2      RELATING TO PUBLIC CONTRACTS AND PROCUREMENT
        GOH,WAM
        Specifies that subcontractors provide evidence to
        contractors of a current trust fund contribution bond,
        a performance and payment bond, any other bond, or
        another mutually agreeable form of collateral.
        Imposes penalties on prime contractors for failing to
        properly pay amounts owed to subcontractors.  Requires
        the policy board to adopt rules on prompt and
        retainage.

HB 2877 HD2      RELATING TO PUBLIC CONTRACTS       GOH,WAM
        Establishes percentage rate for retainage and bond
        requirements for subcontractors.

two-hole punched) of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room
220, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may
also be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate

for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being
submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required
number of copies needed for submittal.

interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
